- Mental Health Expert: Adapted evidence-based interventions derived from a spectrum of behavioral theories to support the therapeutic needs of children, adolescents, couples and families to promote independent long term growth.
- Operational Oversight: Served as Chief Operating Officer of Marsh McClennan’s commercial business segment. Completed redesign of organization around teaming models, new compensation structures, and centralized service teams.
- Strategic Development: Led development and national rollout of Merrill Lynch’s first structured deposits program. Attracted $4BN+ in new assets; helped structure and manage Global Bank Group’s $5MM incentive compensation program.
- Financial Analysis: Provided extensive modeling for financial projections, valuations, implied debt-rating analysis, cost of capital and acquisition/leveraged finance scenarios.
- Community Advocate: Pro-bono Mental Health Services for the acutely vulnerable; Ronald McDonald House Meal Coordinator – organized meal preparation to support families of critically ill children; Room to Grow Committee Member – supported design and execution of fundraising events that serve the needs of children born into poverty, Hudson River Park Mothers Group Member – facilitated peer support for first time mothers.

- Experienced and successful investor profitably deploying billions of dollars over a 25-year career. Profitably invested across many industries, countries, and strategies. Specifically, I focused on companies undergoing financial distress or significant change. Since retiring from Owl Creek Asset Management after nearly 17 years as a partner last summer, I am focused on private investments in areas where I have developed specific expertise.
- Entrepreneur as the co-owner of The St. Laurent Social Club who manages all finances and understands the complexities of managing a small business in the hospitality industry. Also using my professional skills to invest and help small businesses grow profitably for all stakeholders.
- Team player since my earliest days in sports focused on the name on the front, not the one on the back. Led a collaborative process in my prior hedge funds where all team members were paid based on a single P&L and provided mentorship to many younger colleagues.
- Board member of Anterix Inc., a publicly traded company, where I am also chair of the audit committee along with advising multiple private companies. I am a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, an organization dedicated to helping leaders build successful companies by staying on the edge of corporate governance.
- Lifelong learner who professionally would develop a deep knowledge of industries and special situations and privately due to my innate curiosity. I have shared this knowledge as a guest lecturer at multiple business schools, most recently presenting a case study at Columbia Business School for ten years.

- Healthcare Communications Leader with nearly 30 years of experience spanning the global healthcare ecosystem, currently serving as Group President at Real Chemistry, a healthcare innovation company.
- Business Leader responsible for driving double-digit year-over-year profitable growth for the 2,000-person, $665M global firm.
- Public Health Expert with early career experience at the World Health Organization, working on grassroots projects in maternal health and HIV/AIDS across West Africa and Indonesia; more recently, through leading Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine communications and the industry-wide pharma pledge to #standwithscience.
- Award-Winning Health Strategist recognized with the Cannes Lions Health award for global healthcare campaign of the year for the “Protecting our Tomorrows” global vaccination initiative.
- Team Builder and Integrator: Building bridges and collaboration with a diverse group of professionals across scientific strategy, data science/AI and analytics, global health policy, health equity and advocacy.
- Community Advocate currently serving as the communications sub-committee leader for the Westchester County Taskforce on the Prevention of Gun Violence.
- Board Member and Mentor: currently serving on the global advisory board of Johns Hopkins’ JHPIEGO, a $200M NGO focused on improving women’s and family health in developing countries across the world; Rising stars mentor with the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA).

Listen and learn to ensure we’re prioritizing the most important concerns and initiatives. We’ll work to understand all sides of each issue, and collaborate with administrators and fellow board members to map clear, swift paths to resolution. We’ll focus on outcomes rather than promises and jargon.
Communicate with purpose and frequency so that the community understands the issues facing our district, knows how the Board is addressing them, and can always expect transparency and context for the district’s decisions.
Establish a data- and evidence-driven mindset to help the district measure the impact and return-on-investment of our programs. We will leverage our professional training and experience to improve the Board’s usage of metrics for evaluating the efficacy of new initiatives and legacy school programs. We are committed to advancing our curriculum and technology policies, ensuring that our stakeholders are aligned on concrete and measurable definitions of excellence, and setting a clear path for getting there together.
Integrate community perspectives to inspire a renewed vision for the future of our district. We’ll work hard to make Edgemont a district that promotes our children’s social and emotional well-being and builds resilient, creative thinkers, and future leaders. We have proven track records in setting and effectuating long-term strategic plans, including identifying early roadblocks and involving stakeholders throughout the journey. We’ll ask tough questions to evolve the district from entrenched practices toward new thinking about what Edgemont needs.
Embrace and execute change with thoughtful bravery to cultivate a school board culture that is agile enough to heed calls for needed change and deliberative enough to follow through responsibly.
